Hello Sol, Thanks for visiting. Are you referring to “deep rest” as the oft-used code terminology for “Transcendental Meditation.”?

I think those (of us) working in the USA health care system would appreciate a more functional system for health care access and delivery.

G. I haven’t been reading blogs lately, but thought I’d catch up. This is amazing. Well done, spiritual warrior. The ways people take advantage of the elderly is insidious, but this is disgusting.

Yes, Bjarne, lifelong “seekers” are in a sad place. Maintaining a psychological house of cards requires increasingly complex justifications.

I see the same with many others after years of Maharishi devotion, still creating fantasy “spiritual” paradigms to justify their lives.

Yes, I’m aware of Kornfield’s book. Great idea!

Nice work Gina! Expose all mombyjombees…nothing new under the sun. Try Google “fraud spiritualism”, the “discover” of GWB madame Blavatsky was a fraud herself and J Krishnamurti did a nice work in exposing it although he himself became a victim of selfagrandisment. Your poor mother, trying so hard to find comfort in the confrontations with layers of denial. I would suggest she and perhaps You read at least part of Jack Kornfields book “After the ecstacy..the Laundry” especially the chapter “The dirty laundry”, just might be a comfort to her..hugs!
